Central City Tap House in Kalamazoo

We had so much fun! We just bellied up to the bar and enjoyed watching the plethora of cocktails being made. Talented and yet fun staff! Created a pizza with cream sauce, goat cheese, mushrooms, chicken and spinach... A-Mazing! Would go back!

Decent food. Good service. Seating was a bit odd with everyone seated in one area while the rest of the restaurant was empty. I would go back.

We did the lunch buffet. Never again. I've been several other times and liked the food. Extensive list of liquors. Bar area has high tables with backless stools. I like a seat back. And there is no place for women to put their purses.

I love having a bar with SO MANY TAPS and having pizza!

Amazing meal! I went after church, on a cold dreary day and it was just what I was hoping for. It's cozy, warm and fun inside. Natalie took great care asking chef about my order and saved me some trouble due to my alergies. My ahi tuna burger could not have been better, even without the crab. Their new menu rocks! And my mimosa was unique and delicious, I'm glad I took a chance on it.

Had the salad bar out, wouldn't let us order it, past time; service and food okay but over priced.

Allways fast and good service, and daily specials to take advantage. Who ever put the menu together is really smart. Something delicious for everyone. Many Vegan and many vegetarian options. Im not a vegetarian but went for some qinuoa sliders that were good. Always satisfying.

This place has the best pizza in town and it's half off after 9pm. They also have a huge selection of scotch, bourbon, and whiskey and are one of the only places is town to get oysters.

Overall decent restaurant. Visited summer 2018 and saw new menu items. I've never understood how to describe the food here... It's a mix of seemingly random styles of cusine so you should find something you'd like.They run some special events you can find on their Facebook page. Theme nights, special meals with beer pairings, and such that's worth checking out.

The chicken wings are absolutely phenomenal! If you are looking for a light, but satisfying late night snack, I highly recommend them!

Food came out cool and was mediocre. It was 3:30 and it was dead in there, two other patrons just drinking. The staff just sat around chatting together, ignored us most of the time, beers were cold.

Horribly slow. 10 minutes before we got a menu or a drink order. At an off time. (2:00 pm) So passed any lunch rush. Appetizer was stone cold, so were my fries! Manager made it right, or I would have gone 1 star.

Server was okay, the vibe here was just off for a Saturday night. I don't even think they had any music on which made for a very quiet establishment.. Definitely not upbeat and more of a family eatery in Kalamazoo. Not sure if I'd give them a second chance. There are a lot better options in downtown for someone looking for a fun night out.

This was a great experience the wait time was just about nothing. The food was delicious, and they had a great beer selection. The poutine fries were great as a starter, but I'd recommend ordering it with your burger instead as the amount of food you get is a large portion. This is not a bad thing at all! I will definitely be returning.

Matt was an awesome server and gave great service! However, the asparagus was soggy :(

I love this place. I definitely prefer the old side of the restaurant. Great food, great servers. Always taken care of very well. I am not a fan of it's location but it is still always an option. I prefer the Centre Street location only because of geography!

Great food! Our Moms of Multiples group met in a private room there. I had the deviled eggs, Mexican street nachos ( holy cow sharing appetizer that is served on a pizza pan - easily could feed four people as a full meal), and the berry short cake

The Drinking may be good I am not sure but the service was not up to my standards and neither was the food. I asked fora pizza with black olives. The told me they had them but they were not and they added these things to my pizza. I went another time for a pulled pork Sandwich. It had no sauce at all on it i have no idea how it was called pulled pork (Go to Harvey s in the Mall they are better) Then when i was waiting for my order they lady didn't even offer me a drinks or water like they do in all they places i have ever been. I wont be going back here anytime soon and would suggest u walk across the street to Harvey. They have there issues but this place did seem to customer orientated

Food is affordable and delectable. Decor is rustic, industrial, and cozy. The staff is down to earth and incredibly welcoming. I love being here!

Service was very good. Had Natilie. Helpful. Food was just okay but I like the downtown atmosphere. The edemame app is nice. Good selection of draft beer, though they need a few more IPAs.

The Tap House on Kalmazoo's Mall is a popular place among cultured people since it is next door to the Epic Center. Large selection of beers and whiskeys to satisfy any connoisseur, and better than that, oyster bar on Thursday. We like their bangers and mash, but their food tends to be a bit run of the mill. Attentive service although one of our friends founded it rather pushy. Plenty of TV screens about if you find yourself bored with the conversation.
